Design Features


Simplified Construction

Heavy duty shafts and taper roller bearings combined with a highly simplified construction reduce the need for regular maintenance and the risk of costly downtime.

Stainless Steel Four-Lobe Rotors

Strong and durable four-lobe rotors allow the pump to be operated at a maximum temperature of 150˚C for both process and CIP (Cleaning in Place) and SIP (Sterilisation in Place).

Front Loading Seals

Series X features front loading seals which allow for inspection and repair without the need to remove the rotorcase from the pump or the pump from process line, simplifying maintenance and reducing downtime.

Interchangeable Seal Options

Single or double mechanical seals are available as flushed or aseptic variants, making them suitable for a wide range of applications, offering a highly flexible solution.

Self Draining

Pump can be completely drained whilst retaining pump efficiency, this provides increased product recovery.

Series X pumps are suitable for CIP/SIP and are certified to EHEDG, 3A, and comply with many of the world’s most stringent standards and directives including CE, FDA, and ATEX.

Exceptional Handling of Sensitive Liquids

The pump incorporates closed clearances to minimise product slip whilst the four-lobe geometry reduces shear of the liquid as it enters and exits the lobe cavities and also reduces pulsation.

Optimised Geometry for Enhanced Efficiency

Advanced technology is used to establish exact geometry for the rotors and rotorcase, ensuring high efficiency transfer with low pulsation, low shear, and low noise characteristics.

Simplified Management

When pumping liquids at below freezing or at sterilisation temperatures, the Series X rotor has only one temperature band, highly simplifying application and management.

Installation Flexibility

Flexible mounting (vertical or horizontal) gives complete installation flexibility to suit your exact infrastructure.
