Gardner Denver’s TV series offers a range of versatile electric compressors that are capable of meeting the most demanding air applications. These products have been developed over many years and are recognised for their reliability even when used in tough conditions.
Gardner Denver’s electric compressors are designed to be effective for use in electrified drive systems. Efficiency therefore depends on the interface between on-board technology and the vehicle’s electronics. We offer a range of different drive configurations to support this interface and achieve the best possible performance.
The TV series has been developed to provide high-quality compressed air across a range of different applications, ranging from 10-12m trucks and buses all the way up to 18m trolleybuses and metro systems. However, these products are also capable of providing where this is a high air and duty demand, such as HGVs, trolleybuses, metro systems and large articulated city buses that are often stopping and starting.
Like other Gardner Denver products, this range has been designed to easily integrate into a vehicle’s chassis. Our compressor packages aim to keep size and weight to a minimum – this ensures that fitting is straightforward and any disruption to service is limited.
The TV series can also be retrofitted for customers using a legacy ROL compressor.
The TV01 electric compressor is suited to vehicles with low air demand. See below for a full technical specification.
The TV04 electric compressor is best matched where this is both a high air demand. See below for a full technical specification.
The TV series is versatile and able to accommodate different challenges in the field. The TV01, for example, can provide air for breaking, suspension and door systems in small city buses and trucks. While the TV04 is best suited to heavy duty applications like those found on trams and light rail networks.
Products in the TV series typically require only one service every year, allowing a fleet to spend more time on the road. Rotary vane compressors have very few moving parts and are easily maintained, meaning there is a much lower chance of mechanical failure when compared to competing designs.
