XGN2 Nitrogen Generators

On-Site Nitrogen Generators

Gardner Denver’s XGN2 takes on-site nitrogen generation to new levels. Powered by Gardner Denver’s Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) or our Membrane technology, the XGN2 system eliminates the need for traditional nitrogen shipments and storage.

The XGN2 System is composed of:

· Gardner Denver Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology powered by Gardner Denver Air Compressors

· X Series Air Tanks

· X Series Filtration

· X Series Carbon Tower

· X Series Refrigerated Air Dryers

· QLBL Piping Products

Features

The XGN2 Series is equipped with:

· 1-2000+ CFM

· An intuitive touch screen controller

· A long-life oxygen analyzer

· A long-life CMS adsorption media

· ASME-certified pressure vessels

· A noise-reducing silencer

· Pressure-safety valves


Designed to maximize performance and efficiency, PSA technology utilizes a twin-tower design where nitrogen production and regeneration occur simultaneously. In between cycles, pressure is equalized between the two towers to conserve compressed air and energy. The regenerated tower switches its focus to nitrogen generation while the other tower is regenerated.

Our membrane units work with compressed air passing through a separation membrane consisting of thousands of hollow tubes. There are no moving parts to this design, simply controlling the pressure and flow rate of compressed air through the membrane results in the desired purity.
