AirSmart G2 Monitoring and Protection

Available on enclosed IQ-HE packages, the AirSmart G2 controller continuously monitors blower package operation and provides status information, maintenance schedule tracking, and service advisories. Shutdown protection responds to overpressure and high-temperature conditions to help protect the package when critical operating limits are reached.

The IQ-HE package is designed with extremely compact dimensions and supports side-by-side installation to help optimize floor space. Routine maintenance operations can be performed from the front of the package for simplified service access.

What monitoring and protection features are included with the AirSmart G2 controller?

The AirSmart G2 controller provides continuous monitoring of blower package operation along with status indication, maintenance schedule tracking, and service advisories. The controller also includes shutdown protection for overpressure and high-temperature conditions to help protect the package during operation. 

What package configurations are available for the IQ-HE?

The IQ-HE helical screw blower package is available in enclosed and unenclosed configurations, as well as low-pressure and high-pressure package designs. Unenclosed models utilize mechanical gauges, while enclosed models are equipped with the AirSmart G2 smart controller. Low-pressure packages are designed for applications up to 15 psi, while high-pressure packages are available for applications above 15 psi.  

What maintenance tasks can be performed from the front of the package?

The IQ-HE is designed to simplify routine service by providing front-panel access to common maintenance tasks. Activities that can be performed from the front of the package include oil changes, oil filter replacement, oil pressure adjustments, air filter replacement, and belt drive replacement. Additional maintenance features include a sight glass for oil-level inspection during operation, a filter clogging gauge, and a discharge pressure gauge.
