J0452

New product development is central to EMCO Wheaton’s strategy to remain at the leading edge of fuel handling technology. At the time of its launch, the J0452 was the most technically advanced fuel coupler on the market and was engineered as a direct replacement of the K2/K2P.

The J0453 has now replaced this model, offering more functionality with an improved design. EMCO Wheaton will support the J0452 with original spares and service kits for another X years. For more information about the J0453, click here.

Features & Benefits

The J0542’s ergonomic design, which includes an optional integrated pump with filter element, virtually eliminates leakages and prioritises ease of operation. It comes equipped with EMCO Wheaton’s forged aluminium lever as standard and is built with a hard-coated anodised body for reliability in the field. In-situ nose seal replacement also means the J0452 is very easy to maintain, even after heavy repeat use.

Much like all EMCO Wheaton API couplings, this model offers minimal pressure drop and a high flow rate. It also adheres to recognised international standards and industry codes of practice, including Canadian CRN approval.

The J0452 has a total weight of 9.79 kg (21.5 lbs) without the optional integrated pump and a maximum working pressure of 16 bar (240 psi). It connects to a 4” tank truck flange and shipped with X seals. Side or top handles are also available.

Applications

The J0452 can handle a wide range of different fuel grades, including petrol, diesel and kerosene held on tank trucks. It’s also capable of handling crude oil, biofuels, alcohol and solvents.
