Premium compressor manufacturer Gardner Denver has launched a new range of energy efficient 160 kW to 250 kW oil-injected, screw air compressors to enhance its existing range of GD machines.
The new premium efficiency machines with FOURCORE technology for two stage compression are available in 8 different models: ESM/VS160e, ESM/VS200e, ESM/VS250e, ESM/VS290e (high flow model) in fixed & variable speed.
The new high power range L160e to L290e of lubricated screw compressors comprises of fixed speed and regulated speed (RS) models. The design features brand new, innovative technology engineered to provide next level performance and efficiency for customers across a wide variety of industries.
These new models are offered in addition to the well established existing range of 160 to 250kW machines, which have been powering a diverse range of industries worldwide for many years.

The core benefit of the new ESM/VS 160e to ESM/VS 290e range is that it delivers much greater efficiency than 1 stage compressors but comes in a German engineered package that is the same size as it! Users in a variety industries benefit from an amazing, space-saving design that offer next level efficiency and performance.
Our application engineering team have developed a premium efficiency 2-stage model for fixed and regulated speed compressors using the new technology of the compact double stage airend. What’s unique about this design is that the airend has 1 motor and 4 rotors located in a single, semi-integrated casting. This differs from traditional 2-stage compressors, providing a compact package with high energy savings. In fact, these machines are the same size as a 1 stage machine due to new airend technology.
The innovative FOURCORE technology assures best in class efficiency that goes up to 10% higher than the single stage frame 6 and it features all the benefits of two stage compression without the disadvantages.
Compressed air systems typically comprise of multiple compressors delivering air to a common distribution system. The addition of the optional base load sequencing module will allow for the central control of up to four compressors matching the delivery to plant demand
