Electronic components are manufactured using sensitive, high-tech equipment. This is a huge capital investment for any operator and such equipment needs to be protected from damage at all times.

Such equipment uses large quantities of compressed air, e.g. for the pneumatic transfer of components or for the control of valves. The compressed air needs to be oil-free and free from impurities.
Oil contamination of compressed air can lead to significant maintenance costs and, in severe cases, to complete shutdowns.

Central vacuum for cleaning system on assembly lines
