The NASH 2BQ has a unique performance range. It combines a high gas flow rate of 3,500 to 6,400 cfm (6,000 to 11,000 m³/h) with a discharge pressure range of up to 7 psig (3.75 bar(a)). The performance of this compressor is unmatched, and ideal for recovery and compression of hydrocarbons, and the compression of hydrogen, chlorine and other process gases.
Based on the proven, modular NASH 2BE3 series, the 2BQ was developed with improved compression configuration. The rotor, shaft and bearings were strengthened to withstand higher pressures, and is designed for a wide operating speed range (420 to 611 rpm).
The standard 2BQ compressor model is equipped with a duplex steel shaft, ductile iron end shields, a massive stainless steel housing and o-rings to seal housing components. Higher quality materials are available on demand by using the modular 2BE3/4 design. The NASH 2BQ1 is certified for ATEX.
