Nash Expands Capabilities at Division Headquarters

Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, USA

The Gardner Denver Nash Division recently expanded their Division Headquarters in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania to include a 4,157 sq. ft. Research and Development Test Center and Marine Operations Facility. To mark the event, Nash hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.

This addition to the Bentleyville facility supports Nash's continued focus on new product development, by incorporating a research and development test lab. Several R&D projects were on display during the event, including water and energy saving innovations.

The facility addition is also home to Nash's Marine business. Nash marine products include priming valves, pumps and nuclear compressors. A large portion of Nash's marine business is for the U.S. Navy.

“The opening of the Nash R&D and Marine facility completes a 5 year restructuring and growth initiative for the Nash Division. It establishes a world class global center for all Nash products and aftermarket services, marine operations and engineering.  The facility is now a complete platform to enable strategic growth, and I am grateful for the Nash team's ability to execute this vision flawlessly through the three major phases. The support from the Gardner Denver Energy Group and our local developer, LaCarte Enterprises, and the Washington County and Mon Valley Chambers of Commerce has been phenomenal.” said Vince Trupiano, Vice President and General Manager of the Gardner Denver Nash Division.

The Nash location in Bentleyville has experienced several expansion projects since the facility opened in spring of 2012. These expansions have led to 90 additional jobs for the local economy. Today over 140 people are employed at the location, which provides sales, engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing support for Nash's global business.

"This facility is about 125,000 square feet, and is roughly 30,000 square feet more than was originally envisioned,” said Saeid Rahimian, President and Chief Executive Officer for Gardner Denver's Energy Group. “We have big plans for Nash, we have plans to continue to grow over the next 5, 10 years and further into the future. Gardner Denver has continued to invest in this facility, and we have no plans to stop.”
