CompAir, with its long tradition and innovative reputation in oil-lubricated compressor technologies, has launched a new optimised efficiency 132kW, oil-lubricated rotary screw compressor to further enhance its L-Series.
CompAir is a global compressed air market leader, and gives the customer choices to select options which suit budgets and requirements. The L140-132kW uses a larger airend with a slower rotor tip speed than would normally be considered for this kW size. With its higher free air delivery, the L140 offers a quick return on investment particularly in permanent running applications and in areas where energy costs are critical.
The L140 uses a 132kW IE3 premium efficiency motor as standard and is available with an optional IE4 motor.
Available in air-cooled and water-cooled versions, 7.5 & 10 bar(g), these fixed speed compressors provide exceptionally high free air delivery for minimum electrical power input. Specifically designed with a small footprint, compressor room access and installation is made simple.
Air cooled versions use a low kW, high efficiency radial fan to cool the air aftercooler and oil cooler, with the added benefits of quiet running and allowing greater length of ductwork compared to standard fans. The compressor cooling is designed to run in ambient temperatures of up to 45°C as standard. Heat recovery of this air can be used for space heating, effectively recovering up to 97% of the input energy. Alternatively, a factory fitted or retrofit high efficiency oil-to-water heat exchanger can be fitted inside the compressor to heat water to in excess of 70°C and effectively recover approximately 80% of the input energy.
Manufactured in new facilities in Simmern, Germany, the build quality and operational safety is guaranteed to give the customer peace of mind, especially when covered under CompAir's Assure Warranty. Assure is one of the industry's most generous warranties and provides total peace of mind for up to 44,000 hours or 6 years, whichever comes first.
The multilingual Delcos XL touch-screen control system ensures reliable operation and reduced cost of ownership through precise monitoring of pressures, temperatures and levels. The user-friendly and intuitive panel works with a clear menu structure and has an integrated SD card for in-depth analysis of monitored parameters, providing trend diagrams to monitor network pressure, motor speed, volume flows and many more feature besides.
Modern production systems and processes demand increasing levels of air purity and CompAir's systems utilise the latest energy efficient technology to provide lowest life cycle costs. Efficient separators, filters and drains, alongside refrigerant and desiccant dryers, nitrogen generators and multi compressor controllers complete CompAir's attention to detail.
