Articulated Piston

Thomas’ articulating piston compressors are well suited for applications that require high pressure and proportionate flow capability that operate in harsh working environments.  These very robust pumps use totally enclosed motors available in 1 or 3 phase A.C. or 12 or 24V DC for hookup flexibility.   Articulated piston technology is oil-less and field serviceable.

Diaphragm

Thomas’ diaphragm pumps work by reducing a volume of gas using a flexible membrane driven by a crank. They are suitable for compressed air and vacuum or combined. At Thomas, we also produce liquid diaphragm pumps that use stronger forces on the pump’s components to induce special pulsations to compress hard to compress liquids. This leads to pump designs with smaller diaphragm strokes, stiffer diaphragm materials and more robust bearings.

Linear

Thomas linear diaphragm and vibrating armature pumps utilize electromagnetic forces for the transmission of power on a diaphragm or piston. They experience a very long life, low power consumption, low pulsation, and high efficiency.

Liquid Linear Diaphragm Pumps


Peristaltic

Thomas’ peristaltic pumps for OEM applications work by using positive displacement. They reduce a volume and fluid is forced through the tubing by a series of rollers. They are dry-running, self-priming, reversible (DC) and excellent for use with viscous or aggressive media.

Rotary

Thomas rotary vane technology is oil-less and uses self lubricating rotary vanes to produce a nearly pulsation high flow to size ratio.  Flow is has excellent controllability and In some cases flow operation is reversible.  Units have very low sound levels and corrosion resistant exteriors.

WOB-L Piston

WOB-L® Piston technology is the flagship technology of Thomas invented and patented over forty years ago. It’s principle is based on a one piece rod and high performance piston seal that „wobbles” inside an aluminum, hard coated cylinder, providing efficient, reliable, relatively linear flow over time. WOB-L Piston pumps make up the most diverse segment of the Thomas portfolio accounting for single or twin piston, single stage or two stage vacuum or pressure pumps and compressors.
