For more than 65 years, Welch has provided oil-sealed, rotary vane pumps to fulfil customer needs in laboratory and industrial applications. Rotary vane pumps and systems are available as direct and belt-driven versions.
Based on experience, Welch’s direct driven rotary vane pumps are well known for their high water vapor tolerance, which leads to an outstanding reliability for chemical applications. Direct driven rotary vane pumps are available as one and two-stage versions with an ultimate pressure between 0.5 mbar and 2x10-3 mbar with a pumping speed range from 4.6 to 630 m³/h.
Rotary vanes and bearings are lubricated automatically at an optimized oil pressure. This results in lower ultimate pressures and stabilizes the temperature of the pump, in turn extending its lifespan, even under extreme conditions. Selected materials guarantee good chemical resistance ensuring that the standard models are suitable for many chemical applications.
The low weight, flexible handle, compact design and low noise level of Welch’s direct driven rotary vane pump makes the pump a portable and flexible partner in laboratories and industrial environments.
Welch’s belt driven vacuum pumps (ChemStar®) are designed to tolerate harsh chemical contamination. They provide an ultimate pressure of 1x10-4 mbar with a comprehensive pumping speed ranging between 1.3 m³/h and 15 m³/h.
For all different rotary vane pumps, customers can select from a variety of accessories to design their own pump based on their individual needs. Welch also offers pre-defined accessory packages for different kinds of applications based on long term application experience.
