Rotary Evaporator

In chemical laboratories, rotary evaporators are used to evaporate solvents from samples. A vacuum source is required for this process. The vacuum level should be based on the vapor pressure of the solvent, and the water bath temperature of the rotary evaporator. While the flow rate of the vacuum pump should be selected according to the flask size used with the rotary evaporator.

Welch offers a wide range of vacuum pumps and systems suitable for different flask sizes, allowing you to achieve ultimate vacuum levels of 75 to 1 mbar, and flow rates of up to 138 l/min. Our portfolio also includes a variety of manual and electronic vacuum regulation options, including digital controllers to ensure reliable results.
