All of ILS’s syringes are manufactured in from high-quality DURAN® 3.3 borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is heat and shock resistant, which ultimately protects against breakage from shock and sudden or extreme fluctuations in temperature. This type of glass provides a product with maximum chemical resistance and ultra-low expansion glass to furnish superior precision and calibration. Additionally, all polytetraflouroethylene (PTFE; Teflon™) and metal parts of an ILS syringe are designed and manufactured in-house using state-of-the-art computer-controlled milling and lathing machines and specialized glass-shrinking equipment.
