Runtech Systems to deliver vacuum system to Drewsen Spezialpapiere in Germany

Runtech Systems delivers a RunEco vacuum system to DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE in Lachendorf, Germany. The delivery includes an EP600 Turbo Blower, EcoDrop water separator and EcoFlow dewatering measurement. The Turbo Blower will replace all existing liquid ring pumps on PM2.

“Besides the conversion of our power generation to regenerative alternatives, increasing the energy efficiency is one of our big targets. The technology change to a turbo blower represents an important step towards our important goal of climate neutrality by 2045,” says Dr. Ludger Benien, Head of renewable energy at DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE GmbH & Co. KG.

“The Investment in a state-of-the-art blower technology will make the vacuum system fit for the future and provide the mill with energy savings and additional process transparency. Using the Turbo Blower exhaust air in the dryer hood will bring additional steam savings,” says Jelle Schuivens, Sales Manager, Runtech Systems.

Environmentally friendly and energy efficient, RunEco vacuum system provides a reliable, completely water free vacuum solution. Less energy and no water contribute to lower CO2 emissions and smaller environmental footprint. EP Turbo Blowers feature variable speed and capacity. With integrated high-speed motor controlled by a frequency converter, rotation speed and vacuum level can be adjusted according to the process requirements.

The EcoFlow dewatering measurement is designed to optimize dewatering and vacuum levels in the forming and press sections. EcoFlows give you a unique window into the dewatering process.
