Designed for use in most wet pickup applications, Wet Collectors are engineered to remove moisture from conveying air streams. The tangential inlet and interval baffles create a centrifugal action that separates the liquid from the air. Hoffman & Lamson offers several types of wet collectors including Portable Wet Collectors, SL Series, and Wet Pickup Auxiliary Separators.
HOFFMAN & LAMSON mist eliminator separators are designed for use in most wet pickup applications. Each collector is supplied with an adjustable level float or an electric shut-off level sensor. The passage of vapors is eliminated by means of interlocking monofilament material. The material is designed to provide excellent break up of liquid phase, creating maximum surface area for mass transfer with vapor phase. These properties produce low pressure drop, prevent liquid holdup on and within the packing and prevent excessive energy usage.
