Micro, Miniature and Small Vacuum Pumps in All Sizes

Thomas Offers a Variety of Micro, Miniature and Small Vacuum Pumps in Diaphragm, Rotary Vane and WOB-L® Piston Technology for All Market Needs

Thomas is a leading manufacturer of small vacuum pumps for a variety of industries and applications. Our extensive portfolio of small pumps features micro vacuum pumps that can be as small as a coin, miniature vacuum pumps equal to the size of an office paper clip, as well as small vacuum pumps that fit into a hand. All the Thomas small vacuum pumps are oil-free regardless of the technology and provide high efficiency, sealed air flow capability, and platform modularity.

We designed our pumps to achieve an excellent size to performance ratio and full control over the operation of all the pump models.

Benefit from Thomas Small Pumps Engineering

Our state-of-the-art engineering and compact design guarantees a sealed air path and proven reliability. Thomas miniature diaphragm pumps are characterized by their operational water vapor tolerance, and outstanding chemical compatibility. Our miniature piston pumps provide great corrosion resistance and flow capabilities. The miniature rotary vane pumps generate stable vacuum at consistent flow rates with minimal vibration and pulsation.

We utilize a selection of high quality materials for the pump components based on a chemical resistance to the media being transferred. Our customers can choose from a variety of materials for diaphragm, vanes, pistons and valves, including EPDM, FKM (Viton), Silicone, NBR (Perbunan), PTFE (Teflon), depending on the model selected.

Thomas Miniature Pumps Characteristics

We provide both AC and DC motors with variants, ranging from low-cost DC up to brushless DC, to provide efficient and quiet drives for our pumps. Our miniature vacuum pumps can work in a series or parallel configuration, thus enabling our customers to replace multiple competitive pumps with one Thomas pump unit in smaller OEM devices.

For deepest vacuum select Thomas diaphragm micro vacuum pumps, that provide a flow rate ranging from 0.010 cfm (300 ml/min) up to 0.58 cfm (16.5 l/min), and vacuum levels up to 99% of the local barometer maximum, which translates to 1 mbar abs (29.2 in.Hg).

For stable flow with minimal pulsation we recommend our miniature rotary vane vacuum pumps. They provide a flow rate range starting at 0.010 cfm (1.6 l/min) and stretches to 0.7 cfm (21 l/min), with vacuum levels up to 830 mbar abs (24.5 in.Hg).

If you seek for the higher flow rates lean on WOB-L® micro piston vacuum pumps. They provide a flow rate that ranges from 0.019 cfm (5.4 l/min) up to 1.8 cfm (50.1 l/min), with maximum vacuum levels up to 860 mbar abs (25.5 in.Hg).

Your Trusted OEM Pumps Partner

As a leading miniature pump manufacturer, we provide a level of customization that is second to none on the market with an extensive variety of micro vacuum pumps consisting of 26 pump series from 3 technologies. Combined with the various available configurations we offer, a pump can be selected from over 100,000 unit variations.

How Diaphragm Vacuum Pumps Work?

Diaphragm vacuum pumps work by reducing the volume from the pump chamber using a flexible membrane in the pump head; a crank moves the pump head via an eccentric motion on the motor shaft. These positive displacement pumps feature a leak-proof pump chamber, operational water vapor tolerance, and outstanding chemical compatibility. The design allows them to transfer various gases that even contain particles.
