The Elmo Rietschle brand resulted from the acquisition of the two renowned German vacuum and pressure companies still present in its name. With seven blower and compressor technologies, namely radial, claw, side channel, monoblock liquid ring, rotary vane, roots type and screw, we can support our customers in finding the best product for their applications. Radial Fans
Elmo Rietschle radial fans operate on the dynamic principle of using the velocity of air to create vacuum up to -46 "H2O (-115 mbar) and pressure up to 50 "H2O (125 mbar), with capacities from 80 to 2000 cfm (135 to 3400 m³/hr).
Side Channel
Elmo Rietschle side channel blowers provide up to -320 "H2O (-800 mbar) in vacuum mode and up to 400 "H2O (1000 mbar) in pressure mode. The capacities range from 9.5 to 1089 cfm (16 to 1850 m³/hr). The side channel principle is based on transforming flow energy into pressure energy.
Liquid Ring (OEM)
Elmo Rietschle offers a range of compact monoblock liquid ring pumps that are used in OEM applications. They provide up to 29 "HgV (33 mbar abs) in vacuum mode and up to 37.7 psig (2.6 bar g) in pressure mode. The suction capacity ranges from 6 to 350 cfm (10 to 600 m³/hr).
Rotary Vane
Elmo Rietschle offers both oil lubricated and dry-running rotary vane pumps. They provide vacuum up to 29.9 "HgV (0.1 mbar abs) with capacities from 2.35 to 904 cfm (4 to 1535 m³/hr) and pressure up to 21.8 psig (1.5 bar g) with capacities from 1.8 to 91.2 cfm (3 to 155 m³/hr). When used as a combined unit, vacuum up to -241 "H2O (-600 mbar) and pressure up to 241 "H2O (600 mbar) are available. Rotary vane vacuum pumps and compressors operate by compressing volume in order to increase pressure.
Rotary Lobe
Elmo Rietschle rotary lobe blowers provide vacuum up to 29.92 "HgV (0.01 mbar abs) and pressure up to 14.5 psig (1 bar g) with capacities from 12 to 5050 cfm (20 to 8580 m³/hr). Similar to the rotary vane pumps, the rotary lobe blowers are also static compression systems, although the compression does not result from an internal volume reduction.
Claw
Elmo Rietschle claw vacuum pumps and compressors operate upon a static compression system that works by internal volume contraction. Vacuum is available up to 27 "HgV (100 mbar abs); pressure up to 31.9 psig (2.2 bar g) and flow rates from 35 to 350 cfm (60 to 600 m³/hr) are provided by these blowers. When used as a combined unit, vacuum up to -241 "H2O (-600 mbar) and pressure up to 241 "H2O (600 mbar) are available.
Screw
Elmo Rietschle dry running screw vacuum pumps use a proven twin screw compression system that runs contact-free and needs no lubrication in the process chamber. They provide vacuum up to 29.92 "HgV (0.05 mbar abs) with capacities from 47 to 425 cfm (80 to 720 m³/hr).
